Animations: Birthday slide

Go to the Birthday slide and click in the title box.

Select the Bounce animation.

Open the Animation Pane.

Double-click on the animation or right-click to open the Effects options window.

Change Animate text to from "All at once" to "By letter". Then click on OK.

Click on the Preview button to see your animation. Your title letters should bounce in like this...

Select the picture and add the Shape animation.

Then go to Effect Options and change to Out.

If you click on Preview, it should look like this:

Before going to the next page, go to your Animation Pane, right-click on one of your animations and choose Hide Advanced Timeline. You will now see a mouse icon beside each animation.
